I recently read one of her works online and I wanted to purchase the books since I enjoyed them, but I dont seem to find them anywhere, and I dont want to go to ebay since the money wont go to Hwang Mi-ri. Anyone know where I could purchase them and have the money go to the artist?

You can find some of her works on www. Just type her name in the search box and you will find them.
Strong and resilient, Hyo Yi fights to protect her mentally handicapped brother whose illness makes him a target for bullies and beatings. Then she meets Min Ha, who unexpectedly winds up making an agreement to protect the siblings.
Bound together by their unusual arrangement, Hyo Yi and Min Ha gradually learn what it means to love, one step at a time…. What kind of life will the two lead under the same roof?
Will they be able to live together at all?! One night, the father she loves more than anything is killed before her eyes. Her mother sends the wounded Dan-bi to Korea, where she has an eye transplant. From then on, Dan- bi is to be a good girl, live with her aunt, and stay out of trouble. When she tries to help him he tells her to go away, Se In wants an apology but Ji Soon wont give one.
That author published a lot of manhwa. Like, a lot. I have no idea about the female empowerment angle, so let me get back to you on that after I read, maybe 2 or 3 of these. Why is she prominently featuring violence and equality in her stories? Is it a korean culture thing? I will certainly try and see where this trail goes to. Like Liked by 1 person. Yes, I would like to know your opinion on the female empowerment angle!
Like Like. I really like the work but some are incomplete so I think she abandoned those work but I hope not. Plus how old is she I mean if she retired I have no more manhwa to read.
Some of them are still getting updated on KissManga but they are slow to updated. I think most of them are complete but not translated into English?? I really love her works and I enjoyed reading your post about her and her works.
I hope you could do reviews regarding her manhwas you like. Thank you! Thank you for responding quickly. I found a copy of the one you written a review of and will start reading it tonight.
I usually read my manga on KissManga. Every once in a while a new chapter for a Hwang Mi Ri manga will pop up under their most recent updated manga featured on the homepage. I would just keep looking for updates. Then, everything else happen and she asked her Mom to transfer to new school. To be seen as tough is to behave in a masculine manner forsaking all hints of femininity.
When any woman tries to rise above their situations and gain any kind of power its made perfectly clear that its by the grace of men.
If they are seen as superior it's only because the men let them win. There is also plenty of women on women hate going on. The female lead is constantly surrounded by men and has no female friends. Every other women is seen as either a manipulative bitch trying to take her man, or is an actual manipulative bitch. I don't even want to get into the whole other plot about the other woman being so consumed by jealousy that she would actually try to murder someone.
Or how we are supposed to sympathize with her character because she is sad. But it is entertaining purely for how extremely bizarre it gets. Its one of those mangas that you don't really need any brain cells for. Just turn off all thought and read. I thought it was just the most absurd thing and at one point even started laughing out loud because I couldn't anymore with the plot twists! Mar 06, Ninis rated it it was amazing. Seems that I read one of the better works of hers, since I never actually read Shoujo unless it does something that isn't stereotypical.
